About Larry Kamholz
Over the last 13 years, I have enjoyed a career
in law enforcement. I've worked various
assignments which include: Patrol Officer, Bike
Cop, Community Policing Officer, S.W.A.T,
Traffic Specialist Officer, and Public Relations
Director. My several years in law enforcement
have allowed me to gain incredible life
experiences that I am now able to share with
others.
Through the many years of experience with police
and media relations, I have developed a strong
understanding and deeper knowledge to help
Government and private businesses effectively
deal with crisis situations within their
organization. Through proven techniques, I am
able to effectively take a bad situation for a
company and work to develop positive highlights
to over shadow the negative publicity.
I have appeared on numerous national television
segments, including: ABC’s Good Morning America,
CBS’s Early Morning Show, NBC’s Today Show, CNN,
Fox News, MSNBC, featured on NBC Dateline, and
many local television and radio stations. I also
have a monthly radio spot on Z104 (WZEE-FM) with
Connie and Fish in the morning.
I have been listed as one of the "Top Five
People to Know in the Madison Area" - Madison
Magazine and in People Magazine. I have also
been featured several times in the Wisconsin
State Journal, the Capital Times and many other
local publications.
I have received extensive training in police and
media relations and have obtained the level of
Master Public Information Specialist. I
currently train officers, supervisors, and
command staff on media relations and how to best
use the media to help deliver the best possible
message or image for their business or agency. I
also explain in depth how to proactively promote
a police agency or business to the media. |
